Giving birth is one of the most life-changing events in your life. Every delivery is different, and every story deserves to be told. Birth is a sacred, vulnerable space—and we’re honored to be invited in. We stay in the background and document your story as it unfolds, capturing the raw, powerful, emotional moments you’ll want to remember forever.

When you're holding your newborn, running on little sleep, and the hours blur together, you can look back on these photos and remember. Remember how strong you were. How capable. How deeply loved and supported you were. These images will help you say:

"I did that. I can do this too."

"Birth is an opportunity to transcend. To rise above what we are accustomed to, reach deeper inside ourselves than we are familiar with and to see not only what we are truly made of, but the strength we can access in and through Birth."

What’s Included in Your Birth Story Experience:

Your labor and birth experience matters. Preparing your mind and body for the journey matters. I work with my clients using yoga, Spinning Babies, educational resources and labor practice to help you achieve the birth you are dreaming of. During my 2 visits, we set up your birth plan, discuss the various comfort measures we can use and identify what is most important to you for this birth. My clients often have questions as we dream and make plans so I send them resources from my vast list of evidence based articles, community connections and even offer books from my lending library.

Initial Consultation – A video or phone call to connect, answer questions, and ensure we’re the right fit.

Prenatal Visits (~35 weeks) – Two deeper in-person or virtual appointments to go over your birth plan, preferences, and how I’ll support your space.

Education & Classes - I offer several classes for my clients to take to prepare their mind and body for birth and parenthood.

Yoga Classes - 4 prenatal yoga classes and 4 postpartum and mommy and me classes are included with the option to purchase additional classes.

Micro Photoshoot - A short 10-15 minute outdoor photoshoot to celebrate your pregnancy or new little one.

24/7 On-Call Coverage – From the moment you book until baby is born, I’m on call—yes, even at 2am!

Up to 14 Hours of Continuous Coverage – I arrive when you ask me to come and stay through the birth and 1–2 hours after to capture those first precious moments.

Photography During Labor, Birth & Golden Hour – From the intensity of labor to the moment you meet your baby, plus bonding, skin-to-skin, and first feed.

100+ Hand-Edited Digital Images – Delivered in a private online gallery for easy viewing, sharing, and downloading.

10x10 Heirloom Album Design – A custom-designed, professionally printed album showcasing your birth story in a stunning, tangible way.

Natural, Honest Imagery – My photography style is documentary, emotion-filled, and unobtrusive. Nothing forced—just the real, raw beauty of birth.

**I proudly accept Kansas and Missouri Medicaid for all of my birth services, ensuring every family has access to compassionate support.

What Sets My Birth Support and Photography Apart:

A Doula-Informed Perspective – As a birth doula, I understand birth on a deeper level. I know when to step back and when to step in quietly for the shot.

Calm, Grounded Presence – I bring a peaceful, respectful energy into your birth space. My goal is to honor your process and support your birth team.

Empowerment Through Imagery – These aren’t just photos—they are reminders of your power, resilience, and love.

Tailored Support – Whether it’s your first or fifth baby, I meet you where you are. Home birth, hospital, birth center—I’m with you.

Legacy Keepsakes – These are heirlooms. Your children may one day look at the moment they entered the world through your eyes.

"Birth is not only about making babies. Birth is about making mothers; strong, competent, capable mothers who trust themselves and know their inner strength"

"Our time with Brittney changed the whole pregnancy and birthing experience. Doctors can be so impersonal and it can be hard to even contact them or to hear back between visits. I loved having someone to text when I needed to talk or wanted advice during my pregnancy journey. I loved her showing us how to prepare for birth and working with my husband, equipping him to be a wonderful birth partner. But even without all of that, hiring Brittney would have been worth it just to have her in labor and delivery."
